PATSY ROBINSON
Chair of the Ramphal Institute
Patsy Robertson was the former Director of Information at the Commonwealth Secretariat where she also served as Spokesperson at all its international meetings including Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings, for several decades. After leaving the Secretariat in 1993, she then went to the United Nations as the Senior Media Adviser for the World Conference on Women in Beijing, China in 1995. She was also head of media for the UNICEF Children’s Conference in 2001-02.
She is current Chair of the Ramphal Institute, a not for profit organisation based in London with a mission to advance knowledge and research in such policy areas as development, education and environmental issues
