GPI Scholars for Good Governance Program:
Global Policy Insights Scholars for Good Governance is a unique platform for scholars in the domain of
Public Policy and Public Administration to work on three-month projects and join an international
community of intellectuals spanning across USA, the UK and India. The first Scholars for Good
Governance is a program by invitation-only, extended to a select list of educational institutions across the
United States, United Kingdom, and India.
The Scholars for Good Governance are given the opportunity to showcase their research and policy
analysis skills to a global audience of researchers and policymakers engaging with issues pertaining to
governance, healthcare reform, civil services reform, educational development, water management,
housing policy and the use of artificial intelligence in public policy. If you are a Masters or PhD student
working in any of the aforementioned policy areas – you could be part of the Scholars for Good
Governance Network.
The Scholars for Good Governance is an unpaid program for Masters and PhD students in public policy
and public administration to showcase their research work in form of short policy analysis documents
(three 500-1500 words papers, over a period of 3 months). During the 3-month period the cohort of
Scholars for Good Governance will get the opportunity to attend webinars and online networking sessions
with a global network of NGOs, bureaucrats, policymakers and other scholars from all across the world.
Each Scholar for Good Governance will be assigned a policy mentor and a practitioner mentor. The
policy mentor will be a GPI core team member of Fellow/Senior Fellow at GPI while the practitioner
mentor will be an industry expert currently practicing in the domain of your research to provide practical
advice and career guidance
