The AI Revolution, Public Policy & Governance

Global Policy Insights (GPI) hosted the inaugural panel discussion of its AI Policy Labs under the 'AI & Public Policy Programme', with the theme 'The AI Revolution, Public Policy & Governance'.

The event invited engagement on the 'intelligent' systems behind AI and the fast-paced developments that compel an enquiry into the global governance on AI, the utilisation of AI in policy making, its implementation, further addressing the governance and challenges of the field itself. The emerging debate around big data and the politics of international regulation also facilitated this discussion and deliberation around the definition, constitution and limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
